Uploading and managing documents

Drag a PDF, DOCX, DOC, TXT, Markdown, or JSON file into a case. Maximum size is 10 MB per file on every plan. (Plans differ in total firm storage, not per-file size.) Scanned, image-only PDFs are OCR'd automatically so their text becomes searchable.

Once uploaded, the document's text is indexed across the matter and used as context when you chat with the AI in that case.

To download or delete, open the matter's Documents panel and use the download and delete actions on the document.
