Draftiro searches the names across all of your matters — active, archived, and closed — plus collaborators. Hits are flagged with the matter name and the role the name played: client, opposing counsel, opposing firm, or collaborator.

To proceed despite a hit, tick the acknowledgement box when creating the matter — that's written to the audit log with your user ID and timestamp. To decline, simply don't create the matter.

Attorneys at your firm can review the activity log in Settings → Activity log. Paralegal accounts don't have access to it.
