When you chat with the AI inside a matter, Draftiro automatically creates a draft time entry for that matter, tagged "AI-assisted," using the elapsed minutes of the AI exchange, which may differ from the time you actually spent. (Quick research with no matter attached doesn't create an entry.) From the matter's Time panel you can then:

Mark the entry billed once you've reviewed it.
Delete it if it shouldn't be billed, or if the time is wrong, and log your actual time as a manual entry.

The "AI-assisted" tag is stored with the entry and can't be edited off, so a future bar review or fee dispute can see which time involved AI. Read more: How to bill AI work without crossing Op. 512.
