Word for Windows or Mac

- 2Choose the manifest (from the URL above, or a saved
manifest.xml). - 3The Open Draftiro button appears on the Home tab — click it and sign in.
Deploy to your whole firm
- 1In the Microsoft 365 admin center, go to Settings ▸ Integrated apps ▸ Upload custom apps.
- 2Upload the manifest and assign it to users or groups.
- 3Everyone gets the Open Draftiro button automatically — no per-person install. It can take a day or more to appear for everyone.
Once it's in Word

Open the Draftiro pane
Click Open Draftiro on the Home tab. Sign in with your Draftiro account — the pane pairs to your session, no extra password.

Send a draft over from Draftiro
Back in Draftiro, click Edit in Word on any draft (or Open in Word from the documents list). The draft loads into your Word task pane within a few seconds.

Work with tracked changes
Review, redline, and draft with the matter's context — Draftiro's suggested edits arrive as native Word tracked changes you can accept or reject. Review every suggestion before you rely on it.
When you use the add-in, the document text you review or ask about is sent to Draftiro and its AI provider, as described in our Privacy Policy. Trouble signing in? Allow pop-ups for the Office host, then click Sign in to Draftiro again for a fresh pairing.
