Methodology

Data source

Draftiro's production court-forms table, counting only rows marked current. Forms are collected from official court and judiciary websites (judicial councils, administrative offices of the courts, state supreme courts, and uscourts.gov for federal national forms). A small number were added by hand.

What the statuses mean

• Collected: our collector downloaded the jurisdiction's statewide (or federal national) official forms from the court's own site.
• Collected, partial: forms were collected, but some of the jurisdiction's official sources were blocked, disallowed by robots.txt, or not machine-readable.
• Hand-added only: no collected forms; the library holds only forms added by hand.
• Not covered: the library holds no forms for this jurisdiction.

Known limits

• Not complete. A jurisdiction marked Collected can still be missing forms its courts publish elsewhere.
• County and local court forms are mostly excluded, as are federal district and bankruptcy court local forms.
• A revision date is counted only where the court states one. For forms added by hand, it is the date recorded when the form was added.
• "Last checked" is the date our collector last fetched the court's listing. Forms added by hand have no check date.
• Courts revise forms without notice. Confirm the current version with the court before filing.
